Companions

When we say we see with twenty twenty vision , we are only aware of   half our world.

In all the years before our experience I would never have guessed, sitting in a field or wandering through the woods, who and what watched me. I had no idea as I knelt to idly scoop a handful of dry soil, and watched as the wind blew it powder like from my palm. In the tall dry stalks of dead  grass , something very alive was witness.

look closely below my ear to the left is a childs head cradled in hands the ear is facing us, it has a leathery appearance and there may be a face above them semi hidden in the shadows.

Within walls of trees and brush, and paths, there was more than just eyes marking my passing,  curious at something they silently read in me.   Long after all the posturing of youth has faded I’m sure, in some mind so alien that defies understanding , yet one almost comforting in its familiarity, the bold play of a boy still echoes humorously.

I sense that, possibly when cars and apartments, and schedules came to claim me, they missed the soft padding of my feet and panting of breath that signaled the exit from my world and my unknown entrance into theirs.    Earth, air, fire, and water are not just the stuff our world is made of,  but the surface and sustenance of theirs as well, a beautiful  playground crafted, not only the new kids on the block struggling for ages  still trying to escape puberty, but those as well with an older claim, who could see the magic ,the life  in each pebble and vine.

I would never have guessed that the viewable  past was reflected, not in cold, flat recorded ghosts scenes forever sentenced to replaying themselves for those able to see, but instead in the form of countless beings who only rest silently, denying us their presence, their communication because they are in their hollow eyes and the short memories of men long forgotten.  Souls waiting to be remembered acknowledged once again.

I would not have realized the sky was alive  not only with the microscopic organisms that enter us with each breath, but with beings far more skilled than the Chameleon, in their secretive existence. Countenances inscrutable, their brief moments on film are a mystery that only they, in their time, will allow us closure or solution to.  We can only hope we are prepared  for whatever likelihood the moment  brings.

As among our own society they have their monsters. This you can be sure of,  but also the pleading in their retched state can be mistaken.  Some may bear tools of destruction while  others may carry a lifeless child or the agony of a love stilled within their hearts in its youth.  It may be that we are closer to them than we think, that they are not beyond humor or compassion.

What of those that are captured in almost cartoon character like playfulness, that press their frolic through the leaves and into the cameras face, showing us possibly that there is not only the thinnest of veils between the formal boundaries, and our limits,  but similar motivations that  press them as well into action.  Since this study began, my beliefs have not narrowed but grown, and in acceptance I see the hand of God, not hidden but predominant in it all.    If in such a short time we’ve learned so much, what wonders still lie ahead?

Call it What You Will,

The amount of weirdness in our lives is staggering, but the reason that comment rings a bit hollow is because we miss most of it. We could be walking past something very real, only partially hidden, and in the right circumstances   be oblivious to it.   Speed up your  actions, walking, driving etc. and this  field of visual numbness increases drastically.

just some of the group, who is lying on the pavement i dont have a clue,

In our style of photography we are not  aware of much of what is found till later. If we were able to linger in spots for four to five hours of time, our photos would be better, but of what? Nothing is going to stand in its place, knowing your setting up your tripod for a picture of it, nothing that lives with the illusion it is hidden and wants to stay that way.  I’ve watched investigators drag out their high dollar tripods and cameras, talking at the back of their vehicles,  like they are at a still life spot to photograph, a building,or a geographical feature.

one of the great experiences in this study, is the memory of a sighting, not photographic clues from a mystery,

But these sort of actions are ill advised when you are  hunting something, and that’s really what we’re doing right?   We’re trying to catch something on film that may not even have  the semi predictable instincts of an animal, yet could  function from a separate, possibly system of reactions. So, our movements, especially at night in the field, especially when in a small group, should be mobile.  There are many things we’ve captured on film that I would not have wanted to be near very long. We should  not be wandering from the camera to the truck. Our attention should not be divided between the possible subject in our proximity and tinkering with gadgetry .

If possible, we should wear some article of clothing that has multiple pockets, keeping what you need at hand. This allows you to keep your focus partially on the area your in as you change batteries and other necessary adjustments along the way.  To get back to the point, there are lots of things near us that we’re unaware of, yet we do capture, as they examine us at a distance.   We can’t assume that all these are Greys with their mind reading abilities or Nordics with their affection for the human race. Visualize the night as a zoo type environment only weirder. There are not just the humanoids to deal with.

When you visit a place, do you generally take your dog? Some can, I’m sure, and do. The point is, once you decide to move somewhere, you not only would bring your animals but you’d bring your plants you tend and all the things that make you, you.  If the human race planned to take a semi arid planet as our own own, capable of growth, one that could be turned green again, of course we’d do it.  We’d take as much common to our planet as we could things beneficial to us, that we’ve found make our world livable for us.

Well, for any other migrating species on an exodus of their own, wouldn’t those same sort of plans be likely?  If planning to exist on our world, wouldn’t they seek to alter it, fine tune it for their best existence upon it?   Maybe there is too much sun light here allowed through the clouds. It’s   possible certain of their plants or forms of life native to their world could be responsible for its allowance of sun, responsible for the density of their atmosphere. They could release spores or similar sprays that float up into the atmosphere, building it, just as plants create oxygen here on earth.  Those types of plant and life forms would be very beneficial to bring along, especially if they were tested here and found capable of entering the flora here and not only surviving, but eventually having a dominant role.

On earth everything is involved in a complex weave, one to some degree relying on the success of another.  Even lizards, mammals and fish rely on certain plants for food. Some feed on  the other forms of life  that come to these areas themselves for food and water.  Possibly, the Earth is not alone in that, and these traveling races  might bring, as well, these compliments to their system. They could be like Noah, bringing  their lost planets seeds of life. If we believe a man and his family in antiquity created a vessel large enough to house such a collection of life, then sure we have to give beings capable of galactic or dimensional travel the the same capability.

There are lots of questions in the study of UFO’s. One is why have they been here so long yet stayed for the most part out of sight? Why have they not revealed themselves? Surely a group, supposedly trying to take over our world as many think, would have acted after hundreds if not thousands of years. The answer might be, because they are still not ready.  Perhaps they are more patient than we could ever imagine, having ages ago all agreed to a plan they knew might  take generations or centuries to bring to fruition.

They know their control over us as well as our world must come in minimal steps.  How often do you not just walk through nature talking over its beauty, but sit down amidst it examining the same plants and insects you remember as a child?   Every year, maybe every day, we fall more and more under the hypnotic spell of our marvels.  Children use devices that our parent’s heroes used on the outer space adventures. Flights into space for high paying thrill seekers are not a fantasy any longer.  All this, almost abject, worship we lavish on our toys works in a way that could be beneficial to them also.

another object unseen, but recorded

If you want to accomplish something in war, on the football field, in a magic show, you sometimes use a diversion of some kind. you use one that blinds the opposition to your real cause.  The loss of certain creatures in our ECO system could be as devastating as the the introduction of theirs. The loss of honey bees etc., the sudden death of large numbers of fish and birds, certain species  of them, could be just a fine tuning for a day when our losses are much more than that.

If you wanted slowly to seed a planet with your growth and your insects and your aquatic life, could this be easily done in front of a species in touch with their world, involved with it, noticing even minute changes,or would it be easier to pull it off against a people out of touch with it,  a species that show a cold indifference to it?

Families entertained themselves in outdoor activities in the past. They ate outdoors, camped, hiked and vacationed with a focus to” ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS”.  There were educational shows like the undersea world of  Jacques Cousteau, Arther C. Clark’s mysterious world. etc. The Disney channel featured outdoor stories. That was before they became a factory transforming 15 year old girls into slightly different versions of Lindsey Lohan.     Now we consider  reality TV shows of different examples of our worst behavior as entertainment, with shows about cheating housewives competing for the GOLDEN globe award.   It’s like a constantly improving impression of Ivan Sanderson’s Oints. These were the beings he  suggested might have to come to a point in their evolution where they had become abysmally stupid and/or possibly mad.

We have turned on our past,  being so attracted to future, to our next moment with that game on line, to our next essential text, one of dozens a day.  Many of us go about our daily schedule with a machine in our hand much of it. All the things we were taught that were bad, are the mainstays of the idols we follow in this existence, locked deeply in the enchantment of our toys.  Just how often is your face down, staring into a screen?  When you do look up to fulfill the responsibilities we each have,  how quick is the headlong run back  to this nearly oblivious condition? You can say “lighten up, maybe you, Richard, you need to get real, it’s what the world is doing”.   There you have it. The statement spoken or not is true. It’s what the world is doing. The question is with the world this busy, just what are we missing?

Flavius Josephus, the noted Jewish historian of the first century A.D. described the giants as having “bodies so large and countenances so entirely different from other men that they were surprising to the sight and terrible to the hearing.” And he adds that in his day, the bones of the giants were still on display!

inverted image of my sketch, a giant packing home his tropheys,

There are many new images to explore with you, yet sometimes when searching for one in particular, something catches my eye in another that I never considered before. It is so striking that it must become an immediate priority.  These are powerful and focused and in these situations.  I’ve learned to trust my instincts. Only rarely do they amount to a wild goose chase. These are good as well, because once they are proven to be without worth, the end result, the search for truth has still been achieved .

Some of these new discoveries are no reason for celebration. This, I believe is one of those.

Look across the nighttime scene only minutely revealed in the cameras flash,  but what is caught in that second of time.  The grasses beginning their slow death wave in the nights breeze. Waste high, they are beautiful against the backdrop of bushes and trees.   Every few feet, further out, the difference between bush and grass becomes less distinguishable. Finally the forms of  greenery that meet the base of the trees some distance out, are completely lost from view. This is a line of small trees, maybe 20 to 30 yards out. Standing at their base you would only be half as tall.

a description a guide

woman heavy curly hair her face showing through dont you see it,

The image is lightened and a faint white shape is revealed, possibly mottled.  It is the opening, head high, between two trees.  There seems to be a shape in the position, a head would assume on top of a torso. We are guessing it a torso because of its proportion and because what seems like an arm extends away from it.  This assumption is only strengthened by the shapes, the details on what may be a head.  First there are two dark hollows or shadowed indentations, rather jack-o-lantern in appearance.

through the opening in the trees a light colored figure as tall as the small trees around it holds a shape of some kind in its hand

A nose doesn’t jump out, but the area that could be considered for the mouth has a  jagged  horizontal slash that looks menacing. What has brought us back to this image ?   It’s the remaining detail presently missed. Sometimes interpretation comes from odd spots inside us, ones of fear. It can blind us to the facts we are too afraid to consider and thrust other less potent ones on us.

In this case I was absorbed by the presence.  The surroundings meant little compared to the possible humanoid at the images center.  I considered what I thought might be animal, held in its hand, something in the dog or cat range, which may have been a comfort in comparison to the  identification I was now making.

There was pink or a flesh colored shade in 3 spots close together. I studied these, blowing the area up again only this time I walked away from the screen, turned and looked and saw a face. It was sandwiched between two dark wavy surfaces, darker than the gloom on either side of them, yet consistent with the appearance of thick wavy or dark curly hair.  There was a forehead, a nose and lips opened in an “O” that fit perfectly on the  face that I felt was nearly obscured with curls.  There was even a curve to the shirts neckline and a faint outline I felt comfortable referring to as a body.

The only problem in the identification stage was that it seemed hanging in the air at an angle, one that was impossible, unless the body was supported somehow in a harness or in the grip of something.  But  if the light colored thing with the frightening face was what held her, then there had to be a considerable difference between them in size. To hold her by one arm that high off the ground would call for size and enormous strength. I understand that to take this line of thought further should call for a counselor at the least , and that would be the case if the subject of gianthuman like beings has never been seriously considered or proven Biblically and historically.   But their existance has been a matter of record for some time.

a crop from the larger image, i used black to outline the figures ,, can you see the face and thick hair all about it yet?

“In those days there were giants in the earth”.   If that sentence had been framed in our age, it would doubtlessly be talking about the great men and women of our age, but in the time long before Christ lived, in the time when the lives of men were not measured by 6 to 10 decades, but sometimes hundreds of years, when the Watchers came down to men and stole away women to be their own, there were giants.   The offspring of these first unions were monstrous in size  and plagued the earth and mankind who became their food when they could no longer produce enough sustenance for them. It was the extraordinary man, Enoch, who carried the verdict of God to their fathers, a judgement of destruction.

One was taken to the desert and placed in a large hole with rocks on his head imprisoning him. When the other  Angels who served out a portion of Gods punishment were done, there truly were Giants in the earth.   Later in the Bible Moses sends spies into the land of Canaan to gauge the enemies strength,  they return in fear saying “All the people we saw in it were men of great stature. And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, descended from the Nephilim: and we seemed to ourselves as grasshoppers, and so did we to them” (Numbers 13:32-33).

The flood is supposed to have cleansed the earth, removed these tormentors from man, but they lived on in small groups still being encountered all the way up to the days of David.  Goliath was not the last of the giants.

There are records all the way into the twentieth century of their numerous  graves being found, and even examples in our age of living men who physically towered over us.    The chance for large Alien life immediately grows with each account read.  If our earth could, for centuries, sustain so many examples, why not another?     Why aren’t we as familiar with the  history of giants  here as we are with those of the different Indian tribes, and the Vikings whose settlement failed  for reasons we’ll never be completely sure of?  Why all these accounts  supposedly by credible sources, and no material evidence at hand? Well there has been a few examples in our time.

One of which was; Robert Pershing Wadlow,  born  Feb-22 1918,  and dying  July 15th, 1940,  The Gentleman Giant.  There are photographs and Medical records  that prove his existence  and discuss in detail the illness that caused his growth..

Maybe the problem is because History, quite honestly, has a selective memory, one influenced by many things such as  political and definitely Religious morays.  Even the Bible, one of our most revered texts, comes in a number of forms with differences. Take for instance Enoch, the book bearing his name, meant apparently to be among the others but is excluded from the bible.   Yet, you find his name is mentioned in Jude 1-14, in Hebrews and in the very first book of the Bible, Genesis.  He was a man who was so upright in the sight of God that he was called to heaven without ever having to suffer the pain of death.  He was a man of flesh and blood who read decrees of punishment on Angels and was taken on a tour of heaven and earth, even shown the paths taken by the Angels.

Just out of sight, in the dark , behind a treeline the figure stands holding its ?

What would have been found lacking in such a book?  What could have been passed on to us from such a man, that the the world needed shielding from?   Maybe it was the time in which he lived. In those days when there truly were Giants in the earth, and the reason for their existence was the fall of a group of angel like beings placed to protect us.  Maybe it is because of the details about the transgression of the angels against man and God.   Maybe they felt certain facts  and descriptions  from the book would confuse us like descriptions of the glorious fires in heaven meant, with the other marvels, to be indicators of Gods greatness, or fire in heaven that the simple people of those times might mistake for the flames of punishment in hell. This was a truth, but a frightening one that might drive away believers in fear,

There were converts who’s coins could not be lost.   So, the trimming down of religion began by trimming away what was repellant and adding  just enough to attract a world of pagans like rituals and vestments, and trinkets of God glistening in what more resembled temples, than tabernacles.  They instituted the praying to saints and the virgin Mary, fashioned after examples of pagan Gods. The simple man left his one room dwelling of straw and mud to kneel in the midst of treasures, to hear what the church  had crafted for him from the whole of christian records at their hands.

This is only one example of the suppressed.  There are truths we are not supposed to know, ones that these organizations could not silence like the fact that Crusaders raped and pillaged on their way to the holy wars, and even in rare occasions committing cannibalism, the horrible deaths linked with the inquisition, and the misdeeds of governments in modern times.  In the view of the open minded, aware of the vaults and warehouses full of secrets we will never see, is it that difficult to believe these finds of giant bone have been descended upon, gathered up, and stored away?  There is also a rumor that the Smithsonian Museum took a cruise out onto the Atlantic Ocean, in a large barge loaded with artifacts and emptied its contents into the sea.

Rumor?  When we hear reports of large aliens,  why must we immediately  hoist one corner of our mouth locking it in a dubious smile?  Something to think on, we believe large numbers of people are abducted each year, and there’s really nothing to suggest this hasn’t always been the case.  So bearing that in mind what would make the giants of those times any less interesting, any less a candidate for abduction or experimentation? Would their seed  be of any less us to them?

In what might seem a  wild scenario, could the larger of these beings spotted near UFO’s, in our time merely be giant descendants of the Nephilim, taken from the dusty rock littered plains, stalking the skies instead, still carrying out the original aim of their kind?

Below is a list of races found in biblical records:

Kenites

Nephilim

Kenizzites

Kadmonites

Hittites

Perizzites

Rephaims

Amorites

Canaanites

Zuzims

Emins

Zebuzites

Hivites

Anakims

Horims

Aviums

Caphtorims

Zamzummins

This isn’t to say that all of these people were giants, but that the race of giants was among each.

Among any other group of individuals, I would feel hesitant to approach this subject and I understand that even here it skirts along the borders where Faeries and other characters out of folklore tread. But I read an interesting article this morning by Loren Coleman. It was one I had to look at after a excerpt from Jerome Clark’s book Unexplained.

There was a story about an incident in 1952, U.S. Pvt. Sinclair Taylor had the experience while on guard duty. This took place at Camp Okubo in Kyoto Japan. The Pvt heard a loud flapping sound and scanning the sky found what first appeared to be a large bird in the moonlight. It came closer and he put a round in his rifle.

The thing in the air watched the Pvt. for a few moments, not coming closer, then continued its descent. He could see a man like body, one 7 ft tall or more . It’s wingspan from his position seemed very near the height. As it made contact with the ground he emptied his Rifle. When he checked to see the condition of his target, if he’d struck it, it was gone.

The Sargent of the Guard investigating the gun fire told him he believed his story and that a year earlier another Guard had seen the same thing. In a singular case it would have less impact and believability. There is also the point that military personnel, like Police officers, are not likely to discharge their weapons in a haphazard way. There is a stringent set protocol for their use, and the bearer of the weapon is responsible for each round fired.

TENGU sometimes 6 to 8ft tall , and often bearing weapons of their own they were a formidable creature to meet.

There is also the fact that in Asia, these winged figures are more common than you’d think. Ufologist Don Worley also related a tale from Earl Morrison, who was among the First Marine Division in Vietnam. His story is of the same eerie sort, a winged object that once closer, could be identified as a humanoid figure. In this case the soldier claimed it was woman, a naked woman, completely black, hair, skin, wings all the same, yet there was the added feature of a greenish glow about her. It illuminated her in the night.

She flew directly over them, blotting out the moon for a moment, and then surprisingly, once 10ft away they could hear the flapping of her wings, something they had not heard before. She was watched as she flew away towards their encampment. Among the details of this story is the fact that she was completely silent when approaching and over them, and then heard leaving. This seems to point towards an effect she may have used on them. It could also be their shock, initially blocking the recognition of such sound out.

a Tengu, in a classic scene, it stealing someone away

As Lori was reading aloud about these it reminded me of something I’d stumbled on in studying the background and beliefs associated with many of the Martial Art traditions I was interested in decades ago. Among some of the books on swordsmanship,a figure reappeared. It was called a Tengu. Samurai were Pictured rushing into rooms to attempt to save women and children who were being carried away. Sometimes the Tengu had weapons as well, but the image of these bird were like men or demons? This was confusing in a book otherwise meant for instruction. Honestly though it was interesting. I gave it little further thought.

In the last three years a lot of what I’ve been looking at during the examination of photos should have made it seem quite relevant, though. The Tengu, winged humanoids of some importance in Asian mythology, also, at times, are given historic credit. In the 18th and 19th centuries the Tengu were regarded as the vigilant protectors of certain forests. This was mentioned by the peasants who more often traveled them. .

They are supposed to have the ability to teleport, use of telepathy, have premonitions, and thought projection. They could invade minds, sometimes causing madness. It was also reported that they could shape-shift. They stole away women and children in the night. There is also a similarity to the large owls mentioned in abduction literature. The Tengu were seen at times as large birds and owls. They were like the Moth-man harbingers of doom, described as cursed humans, demons, or a separate race of beings. There is, among the Japanese, as much a familiarity with the tengu as the western world has with Angels.

The world over the frightening stories of winged figures seen by old and young, and the modern accounts from Air-force bases of all places, should grab our attention. What were the soldiers mentioned earlier in these Asian countries dealing with? Is it too free an association on my part to compare the two, or is it a voice from the past trying to show us a reality. Is it one, that like many extraordinary tales, is misaddressed and ruled of little consequence among the other mysteries of mythology?
