Docvega, Thanks

The point of the article really isn’t to lay the blame at any one person or groups feet. Just like a cold or flu virus moving through a population, apathy can eventually have similar results. Apathy is contagious, is spurned on by INDULGENCE. The Government was set up to serve the people. We were supposed to remain part of the procedure that builds society, not just become sheep in our own lives. From the moment we set up our union it was in a state of change, one dictated, not by the original precepts and design, but, by the swaying changing roles of both the people, and our officials.

We allowed that, we pressed for it, throwing more and more responsibility into the leaderships lap, and they absorbed this , and changed to fit their changing role. We can’t damn them for doing the job we gave them and designing policies that made it easier for them. What we can grow impatient with, is our own lack of unity as a people, our willingness to come forward with sure strong opinions and not be wishy washy about the results. IF WE WANT CHANGE THERE NEEDS NOT TO BE THOUSANDS OF VOICES, BUT MILLIONS, UPON MILLIONS OF VOICES. If only a small portion of the public is willing to go on record with their opinions their gripes and suggestions , then out of the hundreds of millions of us any thing less is just not a strong enough voice.

This shouldn’t be a matter of protest, or negativity, but instead a unified civil effort to convey a unanimous opinion. You say “well that’s hopeless, we’re all too different”.  I never said it would work. The success or failure of this country will not be a responsibility laid only on our leaders but just as equally a load on ourselves. We can agree on some things. We don’t need to change our beliefs or our political loyalties to agree a breathable environment is not just a plus but a necessity, that our symbols are just that; ours as long as we fight beneath them, as long as we support them.

There is a quagmire of problems lying at Americas door. That pile will only enlarge unless we find less pride on the table and more willingness to work together. We escaped our own form of bondage as a country, ourselves, not in a perfectly cohesive group but one with different ideas. They found a way to survive our greatest initial struggle to triumph in it. We shouldn’t wait till the the midnight toll, because it may be too late, and the proud experiment that was America can fail.

This piece of forgotten memorial flotsam has a lot in common with our country right now; they’ve both taken a beating and been at least in some indirect fashion disregarded and disrespected.

It’s only a flag you say, a piece of material that holds more sentimental value to some than to others. Yeah, but didn’t it and our country at one time represent so much more?  One huge, early variation hung over a fortress in the early struggle for our independence. It was not just in place as a label , a symbol for the army fighting beneath it,  but was there, still in place, at the end of that battle, to represent our survival.

It, like good old Uncle Sam (another symbol) was not only visual representations of our country, but links to our deep reserve of pride. Emotional ly stirring Uncle Sam’s poster s and the flag spoke to young men in a way that no leader alone could.

Do times ever, should they ever have the power to change some things? Do changing times make the sacrifice of our ancestors, our parents and grandparents and children any different any less important for the following decades and generations? Should the emblems representative of our patriotism ever fall under the label of needless veneer?  Should any elevated group or one individual have the right or power to alter an icon that is the property of a whole people, a people whose family lines have marched and bled beneath it, back to the beginning the establishment of our union?

There has been disrespect and even talk of changing the content of the Flag, and this way of thinking, I’m sure, comes from a desire to move forward. It is the thought that change in all areas is necessary for healthy growth. But, should EVERYTHING be subject to the whims of the present?   Are there no lines we will draw as to what is adaptable and what must be established in stone, not out of obstinance but integrity?

Everything changes, though, you say. We change, our icons change, and Superman’s costume has even been altered to fit our grimmer time with the addition of black.   Political systems, even religions, change policy and update to fit the times.  Why shouldn’t the no longer needed symbols of our countries past be changed as well to fit our time, to fit everyone concerned?

Maybe it is because the identification of a people, the ethic, the ideals of a people are not a thing of passing fashion, but in a sense an issue of honor. All of us are mortal. The leader in office is a very temporary, changing entity in our lives; the faces in the house and senate, though more long seated, are still limited to a mortal length of existence, but a country of our size, can’t have a shifting, changing identity.

The identity of a country should be something that is the legacy and responsibility to each succeeding generation.  This is not only a requirement to serve in defense of its physical borders and its  citizens, but to defend,  as we do,  the honor of our parents and all the things that  are larger than us, that will or at least should continue after us.  We are not the creators of those symbols, but the protectors, the caretakers of them.

It’s the same torch held by the men that died of bullets and mustard gas in the barb wire of World War I. It’s the same torch held by those who live with the effects of Agent Orange, contracted in Vietnam, and it’s the same torch held by those young men coming home, and still leaving to settle our debates throughout the world.

Times change but little of what mankind faces does.  It is oppression. It is tyranny disguised in benevolent guise  and a thousand other poisons of the mind and maybe the spirit that makes nobler aspirations, not just useful, but essential in a world swiftly fading to black, becoming lost in the shadows.

We have to remember that it is and always should be our right to throw aside individually our ethics, and values,  but it is just as important that we do remember that choosing  this  lesser path in no way means others have. It is not a license to drag down the rest that are hanging on to an almost etheric hope, for something better, hoping for  an awakening from this bad dream  that has made all the things  that once made us wealthy , secure,  respected by the world, and blessed by  God , no longer relevant, but outdated  things of the past. It has also made a joke of our respect for the millions upon millions that have offered us this chance.

Men and women are creatures of the flesh and the failings of our basic humanity go without saying. There will always be the falling’s of some among the many, previously unrecognized threats revealed. There will be murder and worse crimes committed BY individuals at all levels of our society. They are among the unpredictable, the inescapable.  But, what if, holding that knowledge in one hand we try not to forget that other hand, and what might be held there as well, what could serve as a balancing force of light in our darkening world.

At the present there seems no thinking capable of freeing the world of the shadow of aggression. We do live in a more complicated world than our ancestors, but does that mean the basic principles that made us the most powerful nation on earth are now incapable of healing us and making us whole?

Maybe we should TRY returning to these answers, tested, and proven, over not only one generation or two, but the majority of our history as a country.

Maybe we should make it a high priority to not only delve with a wary eye into the problems  in the worlds back yard, but,  finally in our fractured confusion, , really address the issues  in our own .

The world watches us with a wary eye as well. If we can step forward with visible proof of internal change for the better, of problem solving accomplishment within our own borders, it will be a positive and guiding sign to the world that our country is not in decline, that the Americans of the present have awakened to reclaim our legacy.

Maybe then the world and our people will see this flag not just as a  remnant of a worn out country ,but  instead as the force for good in the world we were meant to be.

In September of 2009, we had an experience. At some point during the beginning of that month, we believe we were abducted, possible three times in two separate areas. Rich and I had decided to pick up the hobby of photography. Early on he had taken some beautiful photographs and hit upon the idea of making up a calendar from these for our area. He thought it would be interesting to see if we could get some of nocturnal animals feeding or roaming through the woods, so we started going out at night.

We took a route out east of town, out East Dakota street, making a few turns until we came to a beautiful bridge we had stopped at a few days earlier. What made this bridge so interesting was the fact that in one of the pictures taken, toward dusk, there appeared a blue orb. There was a tail of blue behind it that made it appear as though it flew right down in front of the camera lens, like it wanted us to see it.blue-orb

For some reason, Rich felt drawn to keep going out on this route. Later we added a little bit more by turning south and heading back to 52 East, heading east and then turning  north on 6003 to H Highway and then back into town. It was an additional 7 to 10 minutes added to our bridge route. It seems that we always felt the need to go this route, until the night that I noticed we were getting back in much later than it normally took us.

The first night that I took the recorder with me, I didn’t mention the time loss to Rich until we got back home and he saw me take the recorder out of the console. We didn’t listen to the tape as we were much too busy going through his pictures. The very next time we went out, we took my recorder and his and it was this fateful night that we realized something strange was going on.

It was a few days and at least two more trips on this route before we listened to the tapes. Richard had gotten some very strange pictures that could not be explained, so he sat up while I slept and listened to both tapes. What was recorded on them changed our lives forever. You can read all specifics about this on the first article published on our website.

For over three years we traveled the country roads of Bates County and there hasn’t been any one trip that we DIDN’T find something strange in a nights shooting. We no longer took recorders because they, unfortunately, were destroyed. What was on them was just more than we could handle.

We have talked about quitting, backing off and trying to lead a normal life, but have we reached the point of no return? How can we go out and not look at the sky? How can we drive down a country road and not listen for unusual sounds or not glance into the woods, gullies, over bridges, or into ravines we pass along the way?

Bubba was no more than 25 feet from Rich under the bridge in Rich Hill. bubbaRich watched his figure swim across the water and start up the embankment. Clem was the same distance, maybe even a little less over the rail of a bridge in Passaic off F Highway.387192_272557922802983_1875664276_nhn The Grey was no further away and it was still daylight when we got his picture out off of 52 East when we were following up on a sighting reported to us by three different people on the same day.grey up close

Among all of our findings, there are many scary beings or entities that were so close to us that it would have only taken moments for them to reach us and yet we came away unscathed. Objects in the sky, beings in the dark and even strange eyes peering at us from the trunk of a tree are just too real to ignore. eye in treeWe can no more ignore them than we could the missing time or the tape recordings that led us to keep searching in the country around our little town.

Archie alienNo matter how many times we say we will quit, we can’t ignore what happened to us and what we have found. We can’t walk out of the house without being on high alert. It is just an automatic instinct with us now. We can’t ignore the sky as we drive to the store.

I have to ask myself certain questions. Can I ignore what I have seen so close to us on these trips? Can I erase from my mind the voices and sounds on the tapes that indicate we were abducted and possible abused by humans working in conjunction with aliens? Can I ignore the evidence that tells us something or someone has been in our home while we were sleeping.

Can I ignore what I have felt, heard and seen with my own eyes, and even if I could put all of this to rest, can Richard ignore it at all? It is ever present in our minds and there is no way to say it didn’t/doesn’t happen. We still have strange sounds in the night, strange feelings and even occurrences where something is out of place or we find something laying around we know neither of us brought into the house.

Were we drawn to the bridge on 1004 on purpose? Was there a reason so much has happened and we have found so much? Could I have been influenced to take the tape recorder and could Rich have been influenced to keep going back to the same area?

There are some questions that will probably never be answered and no matter how many times we think we want a normal life, are we are past the point of no return? How can we ignore what we have found, what happened to us, what is out there?

Will we go out again? There is a good chance of this, but if we do, we will be better equipped to bring back the evidences of what we find. We will be better equipped to insure our safety, and I would say that given what we have/do go through we are probably better equipped mentally than we were before.

It is a sad fact, recorded in many books, interviews and articles, that people like us, people who have been abducted, have had sightings, have had weird events in their lives and homes often reach the point where life is completely changed, where there is no turning back to what used to be. They, too have gone past the point of no return.

In the early days of our predominance over the life on earth, mankind handled its problems in very direct way. There was little finesse or intrigue, and diplomacy was a crude skill at best.

Soon, though certain men came to realize that tens of thousands of deaths were not necessary to achieve their ends. Groups of the wealthy and the powerful individuals, instead, invested their time in getting to know mankind better. By that I mean learning what motivates, inspires and repels us.

This in the sure knowledge that with this powerful tool of insight alone mankind could be manipulated, guided, and controlled. They found that entrenched armies of occupation were unnecessary to achieve their goals. All they had to do was convince a mass of people to believe they were being guided through honesty and sincerity.

The mastery, the genius in this is that they could achieve their ends with the subjugated people while allowing them to believe that they were still in control of their lives, still owners of their lands.  It’s not so different from the policies used against the American Indian.  One day they were receiving shiny beads, trade knives, and blankets and in the next they were kicking themselves as they made their tribal exoduses to reservations.

What is the comparison to us? It is in our love of shiny baubles, our addiction to conveniences, our un -willingness to look past the couch, plate, computer, or TV.  Our attentions have been bought so completely that we, like they, have ceased to use solid reason in certain areas of our life.   The constant need for change and upgrade has, to a degree, stolen a portion of our common sense.

Children are taught by repetition; the alphabet, counting, pronouncing words, chores, music and the like are repeated until the child learns them. This is also used on adults in college or training for a job. Any Psychiatrist or Psychologist will tell you that any person, man, woman or child, if told something enough times will come to believe it, as in abuse cases when they are told they will never amount to anything or they are ugly and other such mentally abusive phrases.

It used to be a virtue when a person made something last, took care of it. Now that ethic is a joke.  If you have a cell phone two or three years old, or are not dressing in the current style there’s not only a mocking question about your regular contact with the world, but one as to your skills of observation and possibly your mental health.

In this way, we, the general populace, are much like the Indians of our countries past, unable to see past our material present to understand until it’s too late what has been occurring behind the scenes.

This isn’t a statement about any political party or leader. Individuals of this kind have long since ceased to be the issue. There are non- political entities that have taken over the role of big brother.

Yet there are things taking place around us at an alarming rate. The activity in the skies  is startling ,and there is an air of the growing  unknown, in the political process, in the turbulence and instability that seems to plague the world, not just our country alone.

The “Shell Game” has been around a long time. Whether it is used to simply entertain or to hoodwink people out of their hard earned cash, it has made its rounds.   Sometimes these smoke screens are put in place to protect us, and often to intentionally mislead. Below is just one example of a possible effort at damage control.

The other morning I read an article In the Yahoo News titled: Fearful Kids Can’t Separate Fantasy from Reality. It struck me as odd in places. Now, of course, this is probably because of my background and personal experience with night fears as a child.

I grew up in a household of contradictions as many of us, unfortunately, do.  There was a high level of fear and abuse from one parent while the other had a huge job of working twice as hard to present a positive and nurturing “other half” to our upbringing. In these kinds of conditions, when you have to fear the unexpected in your daily life, night time seems, at least for some, to hold all the more terrors. It did in my case.

I was, on occasions, immobilized by the intensity of it, but one night, I guess too exhausted with fear to give a damn any longer, I rolled over on my belly and turned my back to it. It wasn’t as though I was never unnerved again walking home in the dark, but I was never again frozen by it.

We all have dreams, and are able to remember a few as we wake, but there are odd ones that never seem to fade as 99% of them usually do.  For me, those dreams with real longevity weren’t ones inspired by my father or the movies we watched in our home, but, oddly about a subject I knew nothing about, something I had no interest at all in; UFOS.

In one my whole neighborhood had been reduced to nothing but basements without houses above. I was cowering in the stairwell of ours as the classic disc or inverted bowl shaped craft was slowly passing by one street, over a hundred feet or so above the ground.  This, again, is odd because my mother said she once had to come get me as I was walking in my sleep. She found me in just that position, standing in the basement stairwell.

In another I was riding my bike on the road, furthest west, in West Belton. It was a summer day and I can see the gravel under my tires and the huge sun flowers to my left that grew tall in the dry heat. I stopped at the corner where the gravel road met the highway that ran further west past Sneed’s Barbecue and Holmes Road.  There, at that corner, I can still clearly see, in my memories of the dream, the old gnarled hedge wood corner post.  Then, something draws my attention. Up over head and in daylight, NOT looking into the sun, I see a number of points of light racing down at me, and that is where the dream ends.

I know dreams are the gobbledygook of our subconscious, so how can any importance be drawn from them? Yet, when thousands, if not millions of dreams turn to vapor and are lost to us as the morning light and yawns prevail, why do we remember so clearly only one or two? Why are these one or two etched in our memory more clearly than important moments of our life that time has reduced to pictures like the view of a TV screen with bad reception, and why do we, sometimes, repeatedly dream those almost pristine  dreams?  Is there more to them that engraves them with such fullness and finality in our mind?

The article talked about a study done in which children were asked questions, and shown images that were designed to illicit a response of fear, one the child might be able to explain on a scale of cuddly bears in different states of fear.  For me, there was an odd interest in the examples given the child.

One of these was “what would their response be to a burglar or intruder in their home”, the other was “did they think a fairy would or could enter their home at night?”   A cartoon character, Bob the Builder, was also used in a similar scenario. Monsters were also mentioned. The end result was to determine how each child separated fantasy from reality.

There has been a very common scenario, very close to the subject matter of the study. Its rate of occurrence almost epidemic like, one in which people both young and old, both intellectually sophisticated and simple, both rich and poor, have reported in newspaper articles and books and records of counseling.

That scenario is the experience of an intrusion in their home in the hours of nighttime by humans or human like figures. There have also been those described, that in size and description could be labeled Fairy like.  They describe what our limited understanding might mistakenly call “monsters” on occasion as well.   They talk of powerlessness and immobilizing fear, of medical or scientific examinations and even sexual encounters of a kind.

Why this sudden newsworthy concern over a subject as old as the family itself?  More and more people and more and more children are in Psychological care than ever before. Possibly something is coming out in therapy that is so consistent across the board that its possible real relevance is being examined.   Perhaps these details coming out in sessions are a little too close to home especially when you examine not the acts of alien, but humanities uses of children.

It’s widely known that children have been unwitting test subjects just as adults have been, that they have even been intentionally exposed to life threatening illnesses and substances in an effort to have more relevant lab rats for study. This wasn’t the brain child of Nazi Germany alone; you could say its humble beginnings started there.  It has occurred in many different situations around the world.

And okay let’s get back to the questions asked the children. “Which is the more real scenario, that of a “burglar breaking into the house,” or “a monster frightening a child in the dark?”  Or “Do you think this fairy can come to your home?”  Among the large portion of the world, that public that believes in the possibility of UFOS and intrusions by their crews into the home, a resounding “yes” would be the answer to these questions.

Yes, figures described as Fairy- like do enter homes, only they aren’t those of the Grimm’s Fairy tales realm, but mislabeled creatures that possibly have been the inspiration for our elves, Fairies and our boogeymen throughout the ages.

Surely a sort of shell game has been going on for some time to keep the curious interested but on a fruitless trail towards the truth. In the golden age of TV, Art Linkletter, long forgotten by most, had a saying that rang true now as it did then   “Kids say the darndest things”.  Maybe it’s time we adults take the time and seriously listen to what our children our saying.

We are a suspicious race. No matter what happens, when or where it happens, some of us will see a conspiracy in the facts and actions that occurred. Some of us will purposely look for facts and responses that don’t fit what was said or done.

Throughout the history of the United States, conspiracy theories abound on a daily basis. No matter what happens here, someone will go the extra lengths of watching a video, reading an article and listening to audio versions looking for what doesn’t fit.

Let’s take a look at a few. The idea of alien visitation to this planet goes way back, perhaps thousands of years, but it didn’t take on conspiracy factors until the summer of 1947. Kenneth Arnold spotted 9 shiny craft like objects flying over Mount Rainier while he was assisting in a search and rescue. Less than a month later, the “UFO” crash happened in Roswell. From that point on, it is believed that our government started hiding information from us. Many conspiracy theorists have written books on Roswell, Area 51 and so many other areas considered secured and hidden from the public. Milton William Cooper, Author of “Behold a Pale Horse” states in chapter 12 of his book that between January of 1947 and December of 1952 there were, in fact, 16 crashed disks, 65 alien bodies and one live alien recovered.

He goes further to state that in the first year of Dwight D. Eisenhower’s presidential term at least 10 more crashed disks, 26 dead aliens and 4 live aliens were recovered. He goes on to tell us that in 1953 astronomers discovered that several large objects had taken up orbit around the equator. These were  believed to be mother ships. Some people believe that there are still mother-ships orbiting the earth.

According to him, along with many other conspiracy theorists, a contract was made back in the early 1950’s with Alien beings from another planet or solar system and our government. Many of the authors that mention this theory also say that these aliens, who agreed to trade technology for abduction and experimentation on humans, broke their contract. By the time the government found out, it was too late and they realized they did not have the weapons or means to eradicate this race from our planet. Sadly, there are also rumors that they made similar contracts with leaders of other countries.

Let’s take a look at a few others. Phil Schneider, a private contractor working for the government, came forth and said he was injured in a confrontation with alien greys underground. Not long after he exposed all the information he claimed to have, and having said his life was in danger, was found tortured to death sometime later.

Rumors of activities at Montauk that could have resulted in the appearance of the Montauk Monster have also risen to the surface. Not long ago we purchased some DVD’s on this and other UFO conspiracy theories at Wal-Mart. The main people in the Montauk disk claim that the government was doing research in dimensional and psychic subjects. These people also claim that thousands of the children that disappeared around the world ended up in a large grave site there.

Would it be so hard to believe that a government would perform experimentation on their own civilians? It has happened here in the United States, although the government claims it is no longer going on, and it did happen during the reign of Hitler.

All you have to do is browse the internet or go to the local library. You will find book after book about conspiracy theories. One theorist believes that President Kennedy was assassinated because he was getting ready to expose the alien presence here.

Recently there was a post on Facebook about a 9/11 conspiracy author who published his book last year, Phillip Marshall, who was recently found dead in his home with the bodies of his son and daughter. The ruling, as it stands at this moment is “Murder/Suicide”; however the article also relates that he was worried about attempts on his life.

In recent years there have been many famous people who have come forth to say they were abducted or saw a UFO. Just read Whitley Strieber’s book “Communion” or look up the remarks that Buzz Aldrin and a few other astronauts have said.

Our nation is up in arms at the present time because of the gun control laws the government wants to pass. Citizens are convinced it is a move being taken so the government can enforce marshal law.

In February of 1968 Australia and the UK started the disarmament of their country spurred on by the slaughter of 16 children and 1 teacher in 1996 by a crazed gunman. Do you see a connection here “Sandy Hook”? A thought comes to mind. Could these shooters, acting alone, have been controlled by someone else? Milton William Cooper also mentions in chapter 12 “that this alien race said they had been manipulating masses of people through secret societies, witchcraft, magic, the occult and religion”

I found this very interesting list on the internet when searching for countries that have been disarmed: If you do a little bit of math, it adds up to almost 59 million people being killed in a little over 50 years. I’m not saying that all of these deaths were the result of peaceful nations trying to solve their crime problem. Some of these were just outright military takeovers. Austria invited Germany to take over because they thought it would be better for their citizens only to find out after they were occupied that many would be murdered, tortured or experimented on.

Every day you read about something that someone believes is a conspiracy. Whether it is FEMA buying up a bunch of coffins, Social Security buying up rounds of ammunition, or a catastrophe that some people are blaming on the activity of HAARP, the fact remains that there is a lot that happens around this world that there is just no explanation for.

I don’t know for a fact if any of these theories are true. I do know that aliens and UFO’s are present on this planet, and the ones we met were not the friendly kind.  I have always openly confessed my Christian beliefs and my belief in the Bible as a history of Gods miracles and deeds. I believe there is more to the bible than what the “Mother Church” allowed in there. Believing in that, I know that an almighty God would have made life on other planets because he created everything for a purpose.

Here is some food for thought: If aliens were flying from somewhere out in the Universe back in 1947, if they were that much more technically advanced than we were, how much more technically advanced are they now.

Here is a little conspiratorial food for thought: Maybe the disarming of countries around the world is not the choice of the governments, but is being demanded of them because the takeover is not going to be the government militia, but a much more advanced threat from above or that has been hiding under ground, building its cities and bases.

The Bible says that one of the last signs before Jesus comes back to reign is the unification of the world under the rule of one government or one man. It doesn’t state for a fact that the government or man will come from us, so maybe it is coming from above and/or below?

Beneath the Skin

Author: Richard Carter

It’s difficult, sometimes, to intentionally stray from certain subjects, to enjoy that space you’ve finally put between you and that which remains unexplainable.

Only 15 days ago we chose to step back and our position really hasn’t changed in that way. Oh, there will be trips, but they will be like the bottle an alcoholic hides in his drawer and no matter the addictive flavor of these experiences, no matter the strength of their pull, there will be regret each time we weaken and refresh our memories.

I was at the hospital recently getting a treatment. I am thankful for the port placed in my chest years ago to make easier the introduction of the medicines.  What they might have to do with the subject of field research, I’m sure, is confusing, but, if you’ll humor me I’m sure you’ll soon see the connection.

There is a detail about my port that has always struck me as odd. When it is accessed at just the right point, through the hole that has been permanently formed in my skin from hundreds of piercings, it is painless, without sensation at all. Only the briefest feeling of minute pressure and sometimes not even that.

One nurse, in particular, amazes me by her aim. She is the Annie Oakley of needles. She most often performs the administration of the medicine in just the manner I’ve related, completely painlessly. I have to look down to even tell it’s in me.

Well, as we talked about this one day she mentioned, as she had patiently many times before, that there is a desensitizing that takes place, a scar tissue built up by the REPEATED use of that spot.

After she left the room I said to Lori that it was odd it was like the hole in the back of my neck, and then for the first time it hit me. It was numb as well. The skin around it had sensation.

I could definitely feel a pin prick. But the hole, itself, through all the exploring of it with sewing needles and even a long hairpin had been carried out with no pain or discomfort at all.

Now for the importance of this to really set in you have to understand the details.  One detail was that to examine its depth a large sewing needle had been slowly inserted into it, point first.  This was sterilized first, but, the needle was almost lost in the hole, not reaching its bottom.

The position of this hole was just two inches to the right of my spine, just a half inch below my hair line.  The hairline is odd as well. It is much higher than the normal hairline at the back of the neck.  When a hairpin was used to figure the exact depth, it was about 2- 1/2 inches long.   During this examination the longest needle we had on hand been used, the eye being inserted first. It caught on two foreign objects dragging them up and out.

Again, this was done with little or sensation. The first object that was removed was an odd, white object, like a bony boomerang with pointed ends, very tiny. Within seconds, in the palm of my hand, it turned the darkest black, right before our eyes.

The second object was like a tiny strip of film. It was iridescent and had, at one end, a club like shape, (like a club on a playing card.)  These were kept in a medicine bottle and taken to a nurse in Kentucky, who agreed to look both over under a microscope for us.  She felt they were nothing and threw them away, or at least that was the story she told us later.

Have you seen the connection yet, and the deeper meaning in it, the possible explanation for it?    It goes without saying that most bodies are basically the same in most of our experience.  Extremes of heat and cold, contusions and abrasions and other trauma to the skin produce mildly or sometimes extreme sensations of pain.

Punctures, as well, usually cause an area of temporary soreness, unless that point of entry into the body is reused, over and over, until scar tissue builds there, or other possible conditions rob the area of feeling.  My point is – the “new” port in the left side of my chest (the other had been placed in the right side) has had to have been accessed over 200 times. I only recently remember the absence of sensation I’m speaking of, so a conditioning of the area was taking place.

Since the tissue of my neck is just as sensitive as the skin on my back, belly, arms or legs, since I have no neurological problem producing numbness in the central mass, my torso, I have to assume that for that hole on my neck to reach a point of desensitization, a similar entry point had to be created, one not just pierced once, but many times to create the scar tissue necessary for no feeling in it.

My history with hospitals is long and involved.  I am sure that during my conscious hospital stays my neck was never approached in such a way, and with the difficulty of getting into my veins being the reason for this port and its earlier predecessor, I see no reason the muscle of the back of my neck would ever become a viable choice. Again, we’re talking about hundreds of punctures being necessary to create a desensitized area.

These would have had to occur in my sleep, because I’m just too wary a person, to not be aware or informed of such a repeated procedure. It makes no sense as long as its left in this clinical realm of thought, unless, of course, it was just one or two or maybe just a few entries, by a tool we’re unfamiliar with. Maybe it can have a lasting, lingering, numbing presence in the wound that remains unfelt, thereby, giving the subject no reason to ever explore it and find what has been left deep inside.

The discovery of this hole and its objects was not after our three years of mysterious trekking around bates county, it was found much earlier in 2007.

This would mean that if this hole was not created by aliens or some other origin just as fantastic, it was instead a very real remnant of some other form of visitation- one that had to occur on many occasions.  If we are assuming it is remotely natural, it, like the condition of the hole in my chest, had to be the product of more than one procedure.

Finally, one of the reasons we turned away from our field work, are taking a break, was due to an event in our home. There was a wide crack that suddenly appeared in a bay window area of our ceiling. This is nothing strange. Old houses fall apart in time. Weaknesses in them become apparent, and this would have been nothing more than an addition to my list of home repairs that someday will be done, except within a couple of weeks of the large opening appearing, it closed. It not only closed but left no mark at all to show its original spot. It was as though it had been either resurfaced with troweled on material, or had never had been there at all.

We are in our middle to late 50’s. We both have physical limitations, but neither of us takes narcotics or hallucinatory drugs.  Our grasp of reality and our place in that realm is what we would describe as well developed and well informed.

This was no crack but a one inch wide gap in the ceiling through which the lathing above could be seen.  I don’t like that kind of work and if I had done it, and done it this well, I’d still be bragging about it.  Lori isn’t physically capable of that kind of work any longer. This wasn’t done by us, and now buying this house, it wasn’t a responsibility of the man were purchasing it from.

These sort of mysteries can be interesting even fun, until you start to understand your place in them, until you come to know that being informed and aware doesn’t shield you from blind siding facts, and that a profusion of locks don’t guarantee your security in a world where the normal answer is more and more becoming the obsolete one.

This will be shorter than my usual articles.   It’s not coming from a saintly viewpoint; it’s coming from a slightly confused one. We have recently come from a very bad place in our countries, history, one we are still traveling through.

Generally what lies before us, what is presented in the media, what is enforced by officials seems solid at first, but there really is, in a closer examination, nothing to show us an adamant opinion , a solid comprehensive stance on a the subject of children’s growing vulnerability in our world

We know that the subject of child abuse has come to the front like never before, the need to head off threats to their safety a job of tantamount interest , and rightfully so. Yet it feels sometimes like the effort is similar to watching a man digging in a pit, unaware he is not able to throw the dirt free from the hole.  That loose dirt hitting the walls around him instead, sliding back down around his feet to be shoveled again and again keeping any real progress from being achieved.

By this I mean as fervent speeches are being made and angry articles written, as sad faces of the families of victims are shown over and over, as politicians use this to stage our system, our entertainment, sabotages these efforts at protection.  The examples are rampant but one of real substance has come to the front. The Time magazine cover from the summer of 2012 shows a woman with breasts exposed and a child standing on a chair next to her, one of grade school age, breast feeding.

Also, there is a similar example in an episode of the Game of Thrones, where a ruler, a woman sits on a throne before an envoy or some group of the series characters, likewise breast feeding a child old enough to stand up at one point and articulate his feelings in an angry stance against the gathered assembly.

In a world where we rightfully instruct our children on good and bad touches, and to know the difference in what is appropriate and what is not, in a world where a man can be found guilty of multiple acts of inappropriate interest in children, this double standard (What would you call it?)is a confusing message to all.   It is lewd because breast feeding was designed as a form of nourishment for the infant, a child so young they are unable to feed themselves.

Any child able to sit his or her place at the table, able to go about the mechanics  of eating , able to individually and fully articulate their thoughts  and move about in a controlled bipedal way, is a child far beyond the need of such sustenance.  Any effort by a parent to continue the actions of breastfeeding at this point has to be driven by different motivations entirely.

It’s a long understood fact that many of our children’s idols are from the music and other entertainment genres.  Many of the icons of the past were ours at one point in our lives.   But, how do you enable a child to have a sense of value of the self, to begin to understand their rights to a form of dignity and choice in their lives when the very media they are drawn to, that we often leave them alone with, presents music and film designed to highlight the very issues we seek to protect them from.

Our children are growing up too quickly. They are taking on the hardened look of adults weathered by experience.  They are ready for sex and war before they have even had the chance to enjoy the benefits of childhood and before they are even out of school are given tools to go ahead with the sexual portion of their young lives.

We allow them to bath in subject matter that is inappropriate. We dissect and glorify in detail the act of violence. We set them out a plate full of madness, ideas and actions, the behaviors, both good and bad actions, that were meant to be adult and adult alone.    Adults are watching this crap as well, blowing up the ratings chart, making this popular on paper and supporting the very thing they are supposed to be fighting.  We wouldn’t serve our children poison for supper every night,  things that could rob them of energy of life and reason, but we poison their souls , and are supporting this very insane indoctrination when we turn our head and care little for this growing reality in our lives.

My eleven year old grandson, a boy who talks with his grandmother almost daily, was at an uncle’s house. His uncle was watching a film where a woman was repeatedly raped and chased through woods. My grandson was watching as well.  Unable to do anything about it with us being so far away, we asked him if it had upset him, and what he felt about it. He said it was just crazy.

There is an endangered quality in our children, one worth more than all the oil and minerals in the ground. It’s their innocence. How crazy is our world becoming when the smallest among us are the only ones able to clearly see.

The Midnight Observer was first started back I 2008, a few months before our abductions. The intent of the site was not to log the weird, dimensional, UFO or extraterrestrial information that it has been inundated with. Our main goal was to track cultic, criminal and possible dangerous situations in our rural county and to alert the citizens, neighbors, family and friends as to areas to be aware in. Before we were done building the site, we were abducted.

For three years, searching for who and what happened to us became our life. The physical, financial and emotional toll it took on us can never be fully understandable to most. We would take our last few pennies to put gas in the “Old Grey Ghost, our jeep, to make one more nightly run. We always found something. It was almost like we were drawn to it, but we never found the answers we were seeking, but we believe we have shown that there is a clear and present danger, always around us, always around everywhere.

The pictures and articles on the Midnight Observer speak for themselves. Our lives have been in danger several times. We were stalked, threated and several times Richard was injured with no indication of whom or what did it and no memory.

We have secured our home and are always wary and observant of what is around us day and night. We never leave the house without a camera, but as Richard has said “we are tired, we are done”

We are not taking the Midnight Observer down. No, instead it will transition into the sight it was meant to be from the start. All the pictures and articles will remain, but new articles about the day to day problems, dangers and precautions of normal life will be posted. There will be commentaries, suggestions, instructions and informative articles posted as we see fit.

An article of the weird, supernatural or UFO type may creep in at some point. They will be posted when we are contacted by someone or hear about it from our friends. Our research has taken a large toll on our lives. For now, we are not planning anymore trips. This may change at some time, but at the present we have our health, physically and emotionally to consider. Please check back often as we will still be posting articles about “Clear and Present Dangers.”

Please continue to enjoy the site and contact us if you wish. Transition

Author: Richard Carter

History is revealed to us in so many ways.  Its political movements and the hijinks of actors and personalities from all sectors of society are, these days, an open book to us. It is amazing how much of the more trivial news in all this is absorbed as consequent content.

While Kim Kardashian’s new dress or the most recent rapper take the scene may hold value in some eyes, I wonder just how much of real consequence is hopelessly hidden beside the façade, the three ring circus that keeps us in a childlike stupor, less inclined to focus.

I am an admittedly naïve individual, even at 53. I believed in the Government of my grandfather and his, not by any means ever a squeaky, clean organization, but one that was still more, grey than black in intention. But, then Governments really cannot be judged as individuals like people locked in a certain faith.  Governments are, by necessity, less skilled or interested in propriety and are more of an ardent believer in the terminologies like manifest destiny.

They, in general, are like married couples. No matter how happy and well-adjusted on the surface, no matter how serene or even benevolent the public face, there is always another set of expressions and beliefs voiced behind closed doors, more indicative of the big picture, one we are shielded from. There really is no complaint in this statement, this understanding, no debasing critic meant.  It is just one of the inescapable, like the thorn accompanying the rose, or the stink of sweat with healthy exertion. Unfortunately these are just signs along the way, marks on the wall to show a child’s physical growth.

Really, just how much responsibility can we place on the Governments of the world for hiding facts, and all the other fearful things in question we lie at their doors, when for the larger part we are abundantly satisfied with our position as the horse plodding on with blinders, when we are blissful in our ignorance?

(“However be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you don’t forget the things which you have seen with your own eyes. Don’t let them fade from your memory as long as you live. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren. “)  Deuteronomy 4; 9

I wonder, sometimes, if we are the only hope of our children’s real education, the schooling that seems of little importance to society. I wonder if the strange reports Lori and I have accumulated really are something that is kind to press upon another no matter how good and protective the intention.

I wonder if there is a complete truth in that scripture, one that truly serves the needs of all and don’t, by the necessity of its possible subject matter, only instead separate people in long held, immovable lines of logic and belief.

For over 3 years we’ve given ourselves to something  we passionately believed in. But, in all that time the responses to the narratives we have left, the frightful pictures we have gathered, has been minimal. I completely understand, what can you say?   I am not a priest, and have never been a temperament enough man to adequately pass on a message of this importance.

But we tried. A vehicle was lost in the effort and probably a few thousand dollars in gas, memory cards, cameras and computers that we wore out.  Our health has been, from the first day of it, in question. I literaly had a new life laid at my feet with the means of controlling my illness and what did I do?  We hastened directly into three years of nightmares. I’m tired!  I’m done!   I want to go about my life without the truth that hangs over our head, so constantly on my lips. I want to blissfully don the blinders and finally, as much as humanly possible, relax.

There is no way, no amount of time, no inundation of new experience that will ever wash away the truth, as in the scripture, one that I have seen with my own eyes.

Every time I consider writing something of this kind I am very aware of the raw nerves that the subject of violence, primarily firearms, in America produces.

To those people whose lives have been irrevocably changed by violence, I can say I do understand much of what you’re experiencing in the aftermath.  I have been a victim of crime, as well, on more than one occasion; also I know the frustration of watching the progress of due process that comes to naught.

Ever since the Lindbergh case which led to the “Lindbergh Law”, which made transporting a kidnapping victim across the state lines a federal crime, there has been a maturing of the systems response to crime against children and their families.   As dire a subject as that is, and one ever worthy of our highest attention, I don’t believe striking out in anger to replace the irreplaceable is the solution that fits this problem.

When I was 21 I had met a girl who was a dancer downtown. As a result of this relationship I came under the scrutiny of a few young men who resented it.   I was held down and beat and cut on. The intention was to terrify me, which it most assuredly did. It also produced the desired effect of me limiting my trips downtown to a minimum and keeping them in well-populated areas.

I was cut repeatedly and to this day I have no idea if they meant to kill me. A homeless woman with a shopping cart may have saved my life, her repeated screams made them leave the area, and I was able to get up and get away.

This is only mentioned as an example of one of millions that occur daily across our country and the world.  The enemy in all this isn’t the tool on hand, the broken bottle, the club, the knife, or the fist.  It’s the mind that has run out of alternatives, the mind that has turned away from the near endless list of possibilities that could replace that violent act, the mind that wants and needs to subjugate someone, in return for the real or imagined slights they have received in their own life.

Whether that is the result of a dysfunctional family, or a social, geographical or racial bias they or their families have been a victim of, there are always other choices.    We flock to theatres to see the recent film of a good man choosing revenge as the answer, and at least two of the recent movies of this kind sell the film, in their trailers, with the word revenge used in its description.   We rush to see them, but we understand just as well that society has little tolerance for revenge.  There are so many logics used to explain a crime.  Each ignores the reality that there are always alternatives. I could just as easily have been beaten with a near inexhaustible list of objects, instead of being cut,

The mass killings in schools could just as easily have been accomplished with multiple tools of mass destruction.  We give guns too much credit.  If someone could snap their finger and tomorrow morning we’d wake to a world free of guns, by the nightfall of that day the news channels would be just as full of altercations, of new violent uses found for ordinary things.   THE ABSENCE OF GUNS didn’t keep the Cro-Magnons from nearly exterminating the Neanderthals.  It didn’t keep near countless societies of people, at home tilling their gardens and concentrating on the upward evolution of their people from defending themselves.

One tool of war has competed with another and man has never tired of the search for newer, more effective means of both self-defense and war.     The sword bans imposed by the Japanese on those they conquered only lead to the development of the Kama, (the sickle) the Nunchuku (the rice flail), the Tonfa (another tool for pounding and grinding, I believe). These are only a few examples of everyday tools used as well for self-defense.   Many other peoples went through similar points in their history; few men can sleep easy with no adequate form of protection at hand.

Mankind’s problem lies in faults that are of a mental and spiritual nature.  Just as some forms of life are beautiful and beneficial to the rest of the cycle of life, there is always poison ivy; similarly mankind will always have its bad apples.  Unfortunately there will always be a need to be watchful, and aware that not everyone rising as we do to face the day, has the best intentions for its use.
